Welcome to the AAS library! The library is a preschool – grade12 media center servicing the research, curricular and recreational reading needs of the AAS community.
We engage students with special events such as author visits and book fairs; we support students in the world of information, whether through research on one of our databases as part of a project, or helping to find the perfect book for pleasure reading; and we prepare students for today and tomorrow with information literacy delivered in fixed or flexible classes.
Additional services that we offer include WiFi access, computers with printers, Chromebooks/laptops for check-out, a photocopier, a scanner, and discussion/study spaces. The library collection includes over 25,000 books and 25 magazine subscriptions in English, in addition to a small collection of Bulgarian, French, and Spanish titles. We are happy to provide personal assistance with research questions or any information need that may arise. Come visit us @ the library!
All students are welcome to visit the Library Media Center (LMC) before school, after school, at lunch, and during recesses. Parents are welcome at any time and may check out materials for home use by setting up a family account. Library hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
