School Should Be The Best Party In Town.

“School should be the best party in town.”
–Peter Kline

Yikes! There are only 19 days of school remaining in the 2024-25 school year. That means summer is quickly approaching (even if the weather does not seem that way). It also means we are in the exciting–and a bit frenetic–season of special events. Earlier this week, High School students and an AAS alum performed at the annual Angelia Foundation Benefit Gala–it was amazing! Next week is graduation week. In the following weeks we have ES performances, moving on ceremonies, and all of the smaller celebrations that mark the ending of a school year.

Of all of the spring events, the PTO International Fair is one of the main highlights, not just of spring, but the whole school year. The PTO International Fair is on Saturday, June 14, and it will bring the entire AAS community together for a day of fun, food, friends, and family. Not only is the Fair the funnest (yes, funnest is a word) event of the year, it is also the main fundraiser for the PTO. 100% of the funds raised go to support student events and activities throughout the year.

The PTO International Fair is amazing because it brings everyone together, and because it is an event created by the AAS community. The PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) includes all AAS families and staff (that means YOU!). Over the past few weeks, the PTO International Fair has been at the top of the Weekly Howl–if you look up now, you will see it there again. The AAS community, especially the students, need YOU to help make this year’s Fair another great success.

Please look to the top of this Weekly Howl for ways that you can help make this year’s PTO International Fair the best ever (until next year’s)!

“There is nothing to make you like other human beings so much as doing things for them.”
