This was a small passion project between me and my two close friends. We decided to put our creative skills to good use by making accessories, the proceeds of which we could donate to charity, namely WWF, which we all were big supporters of.
While this was initially meant to be a quick and easy project, the three of us soon found out that it was quite a big task: settling on designs, purchasing the materials (accidentally getting the wrong sizes), dedicating the time to both learning how to make and then make bracletrs, logistics, photoshopping celebrities for marketing purposes, and then finally selling our crafts… Over a year of work while we simultaneously had the rest of the IB to worry about. Still, after reaching the final stretch, I can say it was certainly worthwhile. Seeing people compliment the designs I’d made, seeing others eagerly buy a bracelet or two, and ultimately donating the proceeds to a noble cause helped me realize that all the hours spent were meaningful.
