Since January of last year, myself and two of my friends have been running our Climate Crisis Awareness group. We all decided that we wanted to be involved in a project that raised awareness about climate change, as our primary goal. Our first method of doing so was using an instagram page to post news and other information related to climate change. We tried to tailor the posts so that they would make sense, based on where we live, giving information about climate change in southern Europe and the northern hemisphere. 

Our largest major project was our second-hand thrift clothing swap that took place at the end of last school year. In order to communicate the importance of reusing and recycling clothing to prevent unnecessary waste. Not only were we able to give away a good portion of the clothing that was donated, but we were also able to donate the remaining items to the Red Cross foundation, making sure these items weren’t thrown away.
