Siân joined the AAS Board of Directors in 2026. As a member of the British Embassy community, Siân moved to Sofia with her husband and three children in 2024, following a previous posting in Berne, Switzerland. Her three children attend AAS, currently in grades 6,9&11.

During her time in Switzerland, Siân served as a Community Liaison Officer at the British Embassy. Prior to this, her career in London focused on mental health rehabilitation, substance misuse counselling, and homeless outreach. She is currently studying to become a hypnotherapist.

Siân has a love of the mountains and enjoys hiking with her family and their dog. Since moving to Bulgaria, she has developed a passion for Bulgaria's street dog population and is involved with animal welfare charities, both locally and further afield.
