Seniors Nora S. and Kate G. wanted to help the Middle School Girls Basketball team improve their skills and prepare them for CEESA tournament, so they came up with this CAS project. They created basketball clinics consisting of tough drills, fun activities, and short scrimmages and ran the clinic midway into the season after the fundamentals had already been set in place by their coaches. The sessions took place every Sunday from 10:00 am to 11:30 pm from January 2020 until the end of the season. Between 7-11 players participated in these clinics.
"We were willing to commit our time and effort to the girls in order for them to become better players." Nora shares. Undoubtedly, besides learning new skills, the team definitely had loads of fun.
