Three of our Grade 11 students are organizing this year's AAS Movember Campaign for their IB CAS project. They will be sharing information about the cause, asking the community to participate in weekly activities and encouraging everyone to spread awareness for men's health issues throughout the month. Here is how you can get involved:
|Moustache growing||Various members of the AAS student body and staff are going to grow their mustache throughout the month. Send your progress report to email@example.com.||All month long :)|
|60km run/walk (doesn't have to be at once)||
Challenge yourself and walk the extra mile in the name of men.
If 60km seems unrealistic, set another goal for yourself and get moving!
|Kahoot/Quizlet MS-HS Trivia||Sign up form will be set out and quizlet live competition will take place during the last lunch of Friday if school is virtual, or during Wolf Pack time on Monday.||Week 2|
|Mo Bingo||Incentive to win a prize will engage the students in learning while having fun playing a traditional game of chance.||Week 3|
|Elementary drawings||Little kids draw their male heroes with mustaches. The drawings are to be exhibited virtually.||Week 4|
Donate to the Cause
Lastly, the campaign raises millions of dollars that go to cancer and mental health research each year. Last year, Movember campaigns around the world raised nearly $90 million! We hope to help add that number this year but cannot do so without your help. You can learn more about our campaign and contribute here.
Thanks for your support!
