'Duck Variations' made everyone laugh
Last week, our IB Theatre students performed in front of the High School Audience some short pieces in the ‘Duck Variations’.
‘Duck Variations’ is a series of absurdist dialogues by David Mamet. They have minimal staging and props and the comical effect is achieved by the intensive interaction of the two actors on stage.
A special addition to the performance were the teachers, who joined in to support the young actors. It turned out AAS has some grown-up acting talent too.
The audience enjoyed watching both their peer students, as well as their teachers on stage and had a good laugh.
