AAS Runs to Support Angelia Foundation

On Monday, November 5th students, teachers and parents ran and walked to collect funds for the Angelia Foundation, which AAS has continuously supported through the years.

Angelia Foundation is a non-profit organization which was created to help children battling cancer. It was started by Lia’s parents, after their daughter lost her life due to leukemia. Her parents rebuilt the wing in Isul hospital which treats children with cancer and established the Angelina Foundation in order to help increase the children's chance of survival.

The AAS Angelia Club was started as a Fun Friday Activity to give the AAS students a chance to work with a charity by organizing events and collecting donations. Thanks to our community’s generous donation, last  year we were able to provide the hospital with a medical refrigerator of 10000 lv worth.

Thank you to all who contributed with donations and bought T-shirts and hats. Support initiatives will continue through the year, so stay tuned.
