Safeguarding
Safeguarding Statement
We believe that our children have a right to grow in a supportive, caring, and safe environment which includes the right to protection from all types of abuse and other safeguarding concerns. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and has developed and adopted written guidelines (Code of Conduct) for appropriate and inappropriate behavior of adults towards children. Our school's practices, safeguarding policy and procedures reflect and are aligned with the written Expectations of the International Taskforce on Child Protection. At our school, we use safer recruitment practice and pre-employment background checks, to maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and child safety.
We expect all staff, volunteers, community members, and other third parties to share this commitment and to review and affirm that they have read, understood, and will abide by the Code of Conduct.
Other Policies
Our policies help to ensure that we have the highest performing professionals serving at AAS and that all staff and volunteers share this commitment.
