MS/HS Outdoor Camp in Borovets
The AAS Middle and High School students could hardly wait for the second week of school to come…It was Outdoor Camp time - a great adventure in the mountains was about to begin!
For three days students and teachers had fun in Borovets, getting to know each other, working together to solve different problems, engaging in various sports and physical activities and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Groups of students rotated in trying their hand at archery, mountain biking, hiking and crossing a rope course. No one was scared to get a bit wet while kayaking and sailing in the Iskar reservoir. After a long and eventful day, students took part in some more relaxing team projects in the evening.
Of course, camp was not only fun – the young people had to go through some difficulties as well. To sleep in a tent, especially if you need to figure out how to put it up yourself is no small feat! Luckily, with some help from the teachers and good teamwork everyone had a safe place for the night.
The Outdoor Camp was a great fun and learning experience for the whole Middle and High school team. Both students and teachers are geared up for an exciting school year ahead!
