AAS on the National TV: "We and the City" AAS is a vibrant cross point of over forty nationalities and cultures! On November 27, 2011, at 11:00 am, the Bulgarian National TV invited Mrs. Maria Mihailova, the AAS PR and Admission’s officer, to present to a wider Bulgarian audience the different aspects of the AAS philosophy, programs, scholarship opportunities, history and innovative practices the school has implemented during the 45 years since its founding. In this video you can learn more about how AAS welcomes our foreign students and their families and assists them to adapt to life in Bulgaria. In addition, Mrs. Mihailova discusses how AAS works to develop the whole child through a variety of activities that also nurture global world values. The school is proud not only of our global world view, but in cultivating interest and pride in our host country, as well. AAS is a unique institution in Bulgaria, and some of its successful practices could serve as a model to the Bulgarian education system.
