The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)

The Parent-Teacher Organization of the Anglo-American School is an integral part of the life of the School. The PTO strives to enhance positive communication between the school and parents, for the ultimate benefit of our children. The PTO organizes events, which bring the AAS community together and keep the lines of communication open between families and school. We support the school in maintaining a first rate educational environment for our children. We help the Student Council and coordinate parent volunteers when needed. We also raise funds for student activities by organizing and hosting special events.

Some of our main events during the school year include:

  • PTO Orientation and Welcome Back BBQ for all Families
  • Halloween Costume Party
  • Craft Fair
  • Spring Fair
  • Staff Appreciation Day
    And much, much more!

All parents of AAS students as well as the teachers and staff of AAS are members in the PTO, and as such have a right to be active in the organization. If you wish to be a volunteer just contact any current member, come to any of our meetings (announced in the weekly AAS newsletter) or send us an email: pto@aas-sofia.org.
