Community Service

Our Mission

To enhance academic, personal, social and intellectual growth by instilling students with a sense of compassion, justice and responsibility in their quest to develop as global citizens.

Our Goals:

• To integrate community service into the school's programs.
• To blend service into learning activities in such a way that both service and learning are enriched.
• To involve students actively in the service learning process: planning and preparation, implementing a project, reflecting and assessment, acknowledgement.
• To develop a service learning program at school, within the community and in a more global context

For more than a decade AAS students and staff have worked with disadvantaged homes, orphanages, schools and individuals- maintaining strong friendships and raising funds to improve their life. Here you can see who our buddies are, how we help and the activities we organize. We hope we serve as a good example of responsible citizenship and encourage other schools in Bulgaria to join us in our efforts.
