"Our warmest memories of AAS include Baba Marta Day and our middle school field trips to the mountains (Outward Bound trip) or villages (Koprischivitsa).
We really felt the Bulgarian love of nature during these times! Baba Marta Day is so special because of the hope it instills in everyone's hearts for the new days of spring to arrive and the end of the long grey winter. Stork nests still leave me feeling hopeful!
We live and teach in Asia. The diversity of cultures that come together here are fascinating. The Malaysians, Chinese, and Indians' rich heritages, languages, and traditions can all be found in this one small country."
