Juliane v. Stockhausen (1993-1996)I just started an internship at the GTZ, a German technical assistance institution. I work in the department for Middle and South-eastern Europe and so I often thought about Bulgaria and my childhood memories at the AAS these last weeks.My excitement to have found this alumni-page on the internet today was therefore enormous! I spend 3 years in Bulgaria from 1993-1996, 3 wonderful and unforgettable years. I found friends from all over the world, but as time passed I lost contact to most of them. I am glad to see that Iґm not the only one remembering the time in Sofia as a very special one. Iґd like to name just a few of those people who Iґd love to meet und find out what they did these last years: Sasha Kostov, Anne and Christine Rasmussen, Myles Vanderweel, Samantha Pope, Sven Janson, Alex Montgommery, Anabelle Crumbey, Gorian, Rita and Gabor Szendi, Tina, Fumika, Ksandek.... Mr. and Mrs. Gillilan, Mr. Yankee and all the others whose names I didn't mention but never forgot! On the picture with me is our dog "Simeon", he was born in Simeonovo, Sofia, and we "imported" him to all the places we moved to after Bulgaria. He reminds us every day. Among my best memories are: The prepeartions for the Greece Musical and all other play and shows, ski-week, the bus rides to and from school with Ivan the most charming busdriver...
