Admissions Policy and Procedures       Bulgarian

The Anglo-American School has an Admissions Policy designed to ensure that enrollment is consistent with the purpose of the school and the needs of both applicants and the existing student body.

Provided that Age and Special Needs Requirements are met, priority is given to the dependents of employees of the American and British Embassies and related Agencies. The next priority is for the children of American and British citizens, resident in Sofia, then of other diplomatic missions, followed by the children of other foreign nationals employed in Sofia or the surrounding area and, finally, for Bulgarian nationals.

In addition, there are restrictions relating to class size, the number of students in each class with minimal or no facility in English language, and to Special Needs.
