ESL : Studying/ learning English as a second language
You can't help learning English at AAS.
Language is acquired best through ordinary experiences in social contexts.
The Anglo-American School is an excellent place to learn English, as it
is a natural English-language environment. Students and adults from approximately
forty countries spend at least seven hours every day together in this multicultural
world.
Limited English speakers communicate extensively with the native and fluent
speakers of English. They have to use English if they want to make friends,
to play, to ask and answer questions, to learn in class and to complete
their class work. The students gradually pick up words and phrases in practical
situations. Their listening and speaking skills improve and they become
successful communicators in English. The acquisition of English as a Second
Language continues throughout a child's education at AAS.
