Languages:Learning foreign languages has many advantages and benefits. It enhances logic and organization in thought processes while developing an appreciation of one’s own language. In addition, it lays important groundwork for continued study of the same language or for learning another foreign language later on. In learning a foreign language, one also acquires valuable skills that can open doors to communication with other people and cultures. Children who grow up in an international community will necessarily be confronted with mind-broadening experiences. Learning a foreign language can be a fun and challenging activity, which builds practical skills for these children.Foreign Language instruction at AAS spans all three school levels beginning with French in grade one and includes Bulgarian, French and Spanish. |
