High school students at AAS enjoy outstanding Science and Chemistry Laboratories, Computer facilities and Art rooms. A balanced international curriculum is designed to encourage high academic standards through a practical approach to teaching and learning. The curriculum of Sciences, Mathematics, Languages, History and Art is adaptable to students of all nationalities and levels of ability. AAS offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma program, and is currently expanding its educational program to include a full high school. The IB program is a rigorous and comprehensive two year curriculum that leads to the IB Diploma, and it incorporates the best elements of several national systems of education. The IB program is recognized by a large number of highly renowned universities throughout the world. All High School Students are required to complete extracurricular projects, which encourage collaboration, team spirit and commitment and provide opportunities for leadership. The CAS (Community, Action and Service) programme is a fundamental and compulsory facet of the IB Diploma.
