Academics

Education at the Anglo-American School of Sofia is viewed as more than acquisition of knowledge. The curriculum is based on the best practices of American, British and international education. The Language of instruction is English. Foreign languages taught include Bulgarian, French, and Spanish.

A rich variety of co-curricular activities, (more than 40), are also available throughout the school year. The process of enquiry, discovery, application and creativity are considered essential to the quality education we provide our students.

AAS recognizes each child’s unique needs and potential through diverse educational experiences and methods, with teachers, students and parents as partners in the learning process.
