Facilities
Our state-of-the-art campus is located at the foot of Vitosha mountain, in Pancharevo region of Sofia. AAS boasts 7 hectares of land, about 70 % of which are green areas.
The AAS award winning building (Building of the Year ’06) has a unique layout, which successfully combines exceptional design and functionality with energy efficiency.
Our students enjoy a rich variety of indoor and outdoor Sport facilities including a standard size soccer field, basketball field, 2 tennis courts, 600 sq m gymnasium and a fitness room. All classes have access to two modern and well maintained ICT labs, four fully equipped Art and Music rooms, a performance stage and a Black Box Theatre.
We pride a 300 sq m. Library with over 14 000 volumes, utilizing Follett and Ebsco online library catalogues, modern Biology and Chemistry labs and 40 spacious, well-equipped classrooms.
At this time the school is engaged in a construction project that will double the current instructional space. The additional facilities being constructed will officially open for the start of the 2012-2013 school year.
